Firemaking Priority & Level Offset
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Firemaking Priority | Dynamic or Custom. If set to Dynamic, the script randomly assigns a weight between 1 & 999. |
| Level Offset | A number value between 0 & 99 |
GAIO supports gaining firemaking experience through regular firemaking activities like the burning of logs, or by completing the Wintertodt minigame.
Regular Firemaking
GFiremaking is a DreamBot script that trains the OSRS Firemaking skill by burning logs, either line-burning along tiles or on bonfires. It does this two ways: line-burning (walking along and lighting logs tile-by-tile, the classic method) and bonfires (dumping all your logs onto an existing fire or Forester's Campfire with Make-All). Which one you get is decided per account by the Bonfire Chance setting. Left on the default it'll bonfire on most accounts, since bonfires give better xp/hr.
When line-burning it walks along lighting logs in a line, and the exact tiles are humanised so it isn't always burning the same perfectly-repetitive spot. Any tile where the game says you can't light a fire gets avoided from then on. At tighter spots like the Grand Exchange and Castle Wars it keeps the burning area sensible so fires stay on valid tiles and off the paths. When you're low on coins it'll also pick up the Ashes dropped between burns to sell.
Bank Location Settings
This menu allows you to enable or disable the supported bank locations. We recommend the following banking locations: Varrock West Bank, Varrock East Bank, Grand Exchange, Emir's Arena. By default only Grand Exchange, Varrock East and Varrock West are enabled. The script seeds one of your enabled banks per account and sticks with it (re-rolling if the one it picked is members-only and the account can't use it). A handful of cramped locations that are bad for line-burning are skipped automatically.

Logs Settings
This menu lets you enable or disable each supported log individually. The script buys and burns the highest-level log you've enabled and meet the level for. Teak is OFF by default; everything else is on. If the best pick is Yew or Magic but you can't afford a decent stack of them, it'll fall back to Maple so you're not blowing your whole bank on one trip. Ironman accounts only use logs they actually own.
| Supported Logs | |
|---|---|
| Log | Level |
| Logs | 1 |
| Oak Logs | 15 |
| Willow Logs | 30 |
| Teak Logs | 35 |
| Maple Logs | 45 |
| Yew Logs | 60 |
| Camphor Logs | 66 |
| Magic Logs | 75 |
| Redwood Logs | 90 |
Wintertodt interplay: if you've got Wintertodt enabled alongside this on a members account, it may route to Wintertodt instead of line-burning when that's the stronger option. On members accounts there's a per-account chance it eventually moves off regular firemaking, so accounts don't burn logs indefinitely.
Wintertodt
This task is an OSRS DreamBot script that trains Firemaking by running the Wintertodt minigame on the official Wintertodt worlds.
It runs the whole subgame self-contained, with no food or extra supplies to set up. It chops Bruma roots with the best axe you own (buying the best one it can afford from the store on ironman), and if Fletch is on it'll knife the roots into Bruma kindling for the bonus points before feeding the brazier. When Fletch is off it just dumps full inventories of roots straight in and skips fetching a knife. It balances feeding versus chopping so you don't lose the round.
For lighting it grabs a Tinderbox from the in-arena box ("Take-tinderbox") unless it's already running a Bruma torch off-hand. In that case it withdraws a Bruma torch and "Swap"s it to the off-hand variant so no tinderbox is needed at all, and equips that torch into your gear set if you own one. If the brazier breaks it fetches a Hammer ("Take-hammer"), repairs it and relights. If you're chopping with a Dragon axe it auto-fires the special attack at 100% energy.
Healing is automated through Rejuvenation potions crafted in the arena. It takes concoctions (Rejuvenation potion (unf)) from the supply Crate ("Take-concoction" / "Take-5" / "Take-10" depending on how many it needs), gathers Bruma herb from the Sprouting Roots, and combines them into a batch of potions per trip that varies per account. If you haven't done Druidic Ritual (or you're on a fresh account) it uses the Brew'ma NPC to make the potions instead of mixing them yourself, dropping any leftover herbs/unfinished pots. It keeps an eye on your warmth and drinks when it drops low so you stay topped up.
When a pyromancer goes down it reacts to the "Heal the Pyromancer before lighting the brazier" message: it stops feeding that brazier for a bit and switches to another brazier corner, with the corner it favours varied per account. The Supply crate that drops each round is opened automatically, and once you've banked enough reward permits it heads to the Reward Cart and uses the "Big-Search" action to claim, depositing junk back when it's low on free slots. During banking it auto-sells the crate junk it doesn't want: every log tier, uncut gems, ores, coal, grimy herbs, seeds, raw fish, Saltpetre, Dynamite, Burnt page, Pure essence and Limestone. It carries Games necklace ×2 (menu-swapped "Rub → Wintertodt Camp") to teleport in, restocking them as they run out.
World hopping is dedicated: it only ever hops to the official Wintertodt worlds and manages its own hopping.
General Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Fletch | If enabled, the script will fletch the roots into kindling for extra points. Recommend enabling this setting. |
| Reward Claim Threshold | How many reward permits to bank before it searches the Reward Cart. Leave it at -1 (default) and it rolls a random number between 5 and 20 per account. |
Requirements
50 Firemaking is required for Wintertodt.
Warm clothing is also required for the damage reduction. If you don't already have warm pieces the script will automatically gather the full five-piece Clue hunter outfit (garb, boots, cloak, gloves and trousers), digging each one up at its fixed location with a Spade. On well-funded non-ironman accounts it grabs stamina potions and eats while travelling, skipping any warm piece a Firemaking skilling outfit already covers. If it can't afford or dig the missing pieces it backs off Wintertodt for a while rather than get stuck.
It avoids taking breaks while at very low health, and only fetches the trousers once it has enough HP for the dig.
Method Comparison
| Method | XP/Hr | Profit /Hr | Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular Burning | 50-220k | -100,000 | None |
| Wintertodt | 80-380k | +250,000 | Firemaking Level 50 |
